Learning about the importance of self care and developing your self care plan. (2 hours)
An introduction to Australia’s Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Landscape
Ideal for those in Human Resources and Workplace Health and Safety as well as those entering this space for the first time. Session to introduce you to the key organisations, services, resources and guidelines for discussion and reporting about mental health, mental illness and suicide in Australia. (4 hours)
Me - You - Us
A full day course in which the team learns about self care, establishing team values, improving communication and creating a workplace wellbeing charter. (6 hours)
Leading with Compassion and Empathy
A full day course teaching leaders how to be authentic, approachable, promote inclusion and establish non hierarchal working relationships at their workplaces. Leaders will also learn about establishing compassionate boundaries and modes of communication and worker evaluation. (6 hours)
Boundaries and Safety Nets
Learning how to establish clear boundaries of support and shared set expectations as well as how to create safety nets for best outcomes for recovery and rehabilitation from psychological illness and injury. (2 hours)
Handling Hard Conversations
Learn how to establish rapport with others, respond to an individual’s needs and reset yourself after difficult conversations. This course has been particularly useful for staff to develop increased customer service skills in high pressure environments and to promote mentally safe processes during these interactions. (6 hours)
Talking the Talk
Learning how to use less stigmatising and best practice language and communication to communicate to others regarding mental health, mental illness and suicide. (2 hours)
Wellbeing Auditing
A team building day consisting of analysing your workplace/organisation’s wellbeing strengths and concerns to construct resources and strategies to help lead your teams forward with greater resilience, increased morale and clearer communication. (6 hours)
